The Importance of High-Quality Orthodontic Wax

I’ve noticed that using a good orthodontic wax can really change a patient’s comfort level during treatment. It’s especially helpful when they first get their braces on or after adjustments. I always keep a few packs handy in the office, and it seems to make a big difference in their experience. Has anyone else found specific brands or types that work particularly well for their patients?

Totally agree on the comfort factor — I’ve found that the clear, non-flavored wax often works best for my patients, especially those who might be sensitive to tastes. It stays put longer, which helps a lot with irritation. Have you ever tried using that type?
